Blackwater Successor Faces New Whistleblower Suit

Law360, New York (July 15, 2011, 6:39 PM EDT) -- The former Blackwater Worldwide has been hit with a second employee whistleblower suit, unsealed Thursday in Virginia federal court, accusing the contractor of overbilling the government and providing unqualified snipers.

Lyle Beauchamp and Warren Shepherd, former Xe Services LLC employees, filed suit under seal in April alleging the company billed for the services of unqualified snipers, lied about the work duties of employees for billing purposes and charged the government for worked performed by contractors who had been disqualified by failed drug tests.
