Ernst & Young Tries To Get Case Dismissed

Law360 (May 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in a lawsuit over the troubled merger of Time Warner and AOL are trying to block the last defendant in the case, Ernst & Young, from winning a case dismissal.

In early May, all defendants, except for Ernst & Young, settled a suit brought in 2006 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York over the merger.

About two months ago, Ernst & Young asked for the case against it to be dismissed, saying that loss causation could not be established...
