HTC Infringed 2 Apple Smartphone Patents: ITC Judge

Law360, New York (July 15, 2011, 8:19 PM EDT) -- An International Trade Commission judge ruled Friday that HTC Corp.'s wireless communication technology infringed on two of Apple Inc.'s smartphone patents.

Administrative Law Judge Carl Charneski issued an initial determination in the investigation, finding that HTC had infringed two of the 10 patents asserted by Apple, according to a statement from HTC. The judge's opinion was not immediately available.
