Xe Seeks To Bar FCA Witness Over Deposition Walkout

Law360, New York (July 18, 2011, 5:37 PM EDT) -- Xe Services LLC, formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide, asked a Virginia federal court Monday to block an employee from testifying in a False Claims Act suit against the company, saying he recently walked out during a deposition.

The company is facing two suits by former employees who claim the defense contractor overbilled the government for security services in Iraq and Afghanistan and provided false records to inflate payments.
