Wintara Shells Out $3.3M To End Iraq Subcontract Suits

Law360, New York (July 20, 2011, 4:32 PM EDT) -- Wintara Inc. on Tuesday agreed to pay $3.3 million to settle two suits brought in Delaware by a subcontractor who accused the company of failing to pay for work done on U.S. Army construction projects in Iraq.

The settlement was approved by U.S. District Judge Gregory M. Sleet, who entered judgment for subcontractor AMT Advanced MagTech Offshore Ltd. in both cases.
