Best Buy Workers Sue Over Floating Vacation Policy

Law360, New York (July 21, 2011, 1:21 PM EDT) -- Two Best Buy Co. Inc. managers on Tuesday lodged a putative class action in California accusing the consumer electronics retailer of stiffing workers on wages with its “use it or lose it” floating vacation day policy.

“Plaintiffs and other class members have never been compensated for their unused floating holidays,” General manager Michael Karrer and assistant manager Santiago Estrada said in the complaint.
