Rihanna Can't Escape Photographer's Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (July 22, 2011, 6:11 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday kept alive a photographer's suit claiming superstar R&B singer Rihanna ripped off images from his portfolio for use in a music video, but tossed allegations of trade dress infringement, unfair competition and unjust enrichment.
