Gawker Sues For Access To NJ Governor's Records

Law360, New York (July 25, 2011, 3:43 PM EDT) -- Gawker Entertainment LLC said Monday that records it received from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on his meeting with Fox News Channel Chairman Roger Ailes likely resolves a lawsuit the popular news and entertainment blog filed against his office earlier in the day.

Gawker had sued Christie to force the high-profile Republican to turn over any records that might show conversations with Ailes, and his office responded later in the day by releasing a one-page calendar entry showing he met with the executive on Sept. 11....
