LoJack Techs Win Class Cert. In Wage-And-Hour Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (July 29, 2011, 6:09 PM EDT) -- A California judge on Friday granted class certification to LoJack Corp. technicians who claim the company didn't pay them for time spent commuting between work sites or for the cost of repairing company trucks during their shifts.

California Superior Court Judge Richard Rico's ruling is a blow to LoJack who had tried to shrink the size of the putative class to include only technicians who worked for the company from 2002 to when the company altered its wage-and-hour policies in July 2010.
