Resort Agreement Unfairly Ties Town's Hands: Suit

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 6:55 PM EDT) -- Conservation groups sought Friday to block a company owned by the CEO of Chesapeake Energy Corp. from building a resort in a Michigan town, saying a consent decree between the town and the developer raised separation of powers issues.
