9th Cir. Refuses To Hear Ex-Lawmaker's Appeal En Banc

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 4:36 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Monday declined to have a full panel of judges hear an appeal from a former Arizona congressman to throw out his corruption charges over a land deal based on a constitutional privilege that prevents lawmakers from facing suits over legislative acts.
