Defense Audit Blasts Oversight Of $119M Anham Contract

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 6:40 PM EDT) -- Inadequate oversight on a $119 million contract with Anham LLC for warehousing services in Iraq exposed the U.S. government to questionable subcontracting practices and costs, according to a defense audit released Saturday.

The Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction said in its audit that it had found “significant weaknesses” in the government's oversight of Anham's business systems.
