Pacific Lumber Bids For Stay To Halt Qui Tam Suit

Law360 (June 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pacific Lumber Co. has filed a motion asking the court overseeing the bankrupt timber outfit's Chapter 11 proceedings for an injunction barring a qui tam case from proceeding against Pacific Lumber's parent company Maxxam Inc. and Maxxam's president and chief executive until Pacific Lumber emerges from bankruptcy.
