Nike Hit With Golf Club Patent Suit

Law360, San Diego (August 5, 2011, 7:32 PM EDT) -- Nike Inc. was accused Wednesday in New Jersey federal court of making and selling golf clubs that infringed patents for a golf club head design held by a trust.

The Irrevocable Trust of Anthony J. Antonious claims that the Beaverton, Ore.-based company’s golf clubs, including its lines of SQ Sumo and SQ Sasquatch drivers, hybrids and fairway woods, violated two patents, principally between 2008 and 2010.
