New US Trustee Named For N.Y. Region

Law360, New York (June 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After temporarily stepping into the role, Diana G. Adams has been officially appointed to serve as the U.S. Trustee for New York, Connecticut and Vermont, charged with representing the U.S. Department of Justice in that region's bankruptcy cases.

The government revealed Adams' promotion on Wednesday, formally naming her as the successor to Deirdre Martini, who vacated the position early last year.

As U.S. Trustee, Adams will oversee eight offices spread throughout New York, Connecticut and Vermont, managing 90 employees comprising attorneys, analysts and paralegals.
