Activision Wants Docs Back In 'Call of Duty' Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (August 9, 2011, 10:13 PM EDT) -- Attorneys for Activision Publishing Inc. on Tuesday sought the return of purportedly privileged documents inadvertently produced in a California breach of contract suit brought by the creators of blockbuster video game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.”

“We have produced 8 million pages of documents, and a few have slipped by,” Activision attorney Steven Marenberg of Irell & Manella LLP told California Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle, arguing that the judge should order five documents returned or destroyed without first reviewing their contents.
