Japanese Producer Sues Over Failed 'Gatchaman' Film

Law360, New York (August 10, 2011, 2:34 PM EDT) -- The producer of the 1970s Japanese animated series "Gatchaman" on Tuesday sued the film studio behind a canceled film adaptation for breach of contract and false advertising in California state court, alleging that Imagi Diamond Ltd. had falsely claimed to still have the rights to the show.
