Campbell Puts Lid On Soup Label Action

Law360, New York (August 10, 2011, 5:38 PM EDT) -- Campbell Soup Co. agreed to change labeling procedures for its low-sodium tomato soups as part of a $1.05 million preliminary settlement Tuesday in New Jersey federal court with a class of consumers accusing the company of misleadingly labeling the products.

U.S. District Judge Jerome B. Simandle granted preliminary approval to the settlement.
