Google Wants Microsoft Sanctioned In Motorola ITC Case

Law360, New York (August 10, 2011, 8:43 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. on Wednesday asked a U.S. International Trade Commission administrative law judge to sanction Microsoft Corp. for allegedly providing Google source code to an expert in an ITC patent probe of Android-based smartphones imported by Motorola Mobility Inc.

Microsoft gave the source code to business expert Robert Stevenson without first disclosing him to Google in a clear violation of a protective order imposed on the case, Google said in a nonparty motion.

Google wants the ITC to bar Stevenson from testifying at the evidentiary hearing...
