GAO Stays Award Of $675M Army Corps Canal Contract

Law360, New York (August 12, 2011, 2:36 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has stayed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' award of a $675 million contract for canal work in New Orleans over pricing and conflict of interest issues, according to a decision published Friday.
