TGI Friday's Sued Over Off-The-Clock Tip Distribution

Law360, New York (August 15, 2011, 3:08 PM EDT) -- A former TGI Friday's Inc. bartender lodged a putative class action Friday in California court against the restaurant chain, claiming that the company unlawfully required its hourly workers to calculate and distribute their tips while off the clock.
