Bogart Group Sues 2 More Furniture Cos. Over Star's Name

Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 4:19 PM EDT) -- Humphrey Bogart's estate sued a furniture maker and a furniture retailer over a trademark for the movie star's name in a California state court on Friday, just three months after settling a similar suit.

Bogart LLC's latest complaint, filed in Los Angeles, accuses Mississippi-based manufacturer Corinthian Inc. and Michigan-based retailer Art Van Furniture Inc. of making and selling an unauthorized line of furniture called Bogart.
