PwC Faces OT Class Action From NY Associates

Law360, New York (August 17, 2011, 7:45 PM EDT) -- New York associates of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP filed a class action Tuesday alleging the accounting giant deprived them of overtime wages.

Vincent Commisso filed the suit on behalf of more than 100 associates who were allegedly misclassified by the company as exempt from overtime under state labor laws.

Fresh on the heels of a Ninth Circuit ruling in June that overturned a lower court win for a putative class of junior PwC auditors who claimed they were entitled to overtime pay, Tuesday’s suit challenges the company’s nationwide...
