Army Sued Over $985M Afghan Trucking Contract

Law360, New York (August 17, 2011, 8:29 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Army has awarded a $985 million trucking contract in Afghanistan to 20 new contractors amid reports that some incumbent contractors were sneaking taxpayer money to the Taliban, according to a suit filed Wednesday by an Afghan company that lost the contract.
