JPMorgan Can’t Shake Ex-Exec’s Retaliation Suit

Law360, New York (August 19, 2011, 6:33 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Friday refused to toss an ex-JPMorgan Chase & Co. executive's suit alleging she was fired for raising suspicions about an Israeli client's fraudulent activities, finding that her warnings to superiors were sufficient to keep the suit alive.

U.S. District Court Judge Robert W. Sweet rejected JPMorgan's claims that the allegations outlined in the suit from former wealth management vice president Jennifer Sharkey were unspecific as to what she actually reported to executives at the financial services giant.
