Papa John's Tries To Kick IP Suit Over Fight Song

Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 3:46 PM EDT) -- Papa John's International Inc. asked a New York federal court Friday to toss Bro 'N Sis Music Inc.'s copyright action over a commercial that used the University of Kentucky's fight song, claiming the university — not the publisher — owned the song rights.
