Bonus Not Used To Keep Peters' Accuser Quiet: Witness

Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 8:52 PM EDT) -- Jon Peters' business manager on Monday denied accusations that he withheld a $25,000 Christmas bonus from a woman accusing the film producer of sexual harassment until after she agreed to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Lester Knispel of Boulevard Management testified in California state court that he didn't withhold any money Shelly Morita was owed or promised while she worked as Peters' personal assistant. Further, Knispel said while under cross-examination by Morita's attorney Philip Kaufler that neither he nor anybody else at Boulevard Management pressured Morita to sign a release.
