Ex-Head Of Drug Testing Co. Cops To Billing Fraud

Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 7:57 PM EDT) -- The former president of a drug testing company with reported ties to former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich pled guilty Monday to falsely billing the state for drug tests that did not take place.

Former K.K. Bio-Science Inc. President Anita Mahajan accepted a plea deal from prosecutors under which she received four years' probation, a $75,000 fine and $125,000 in restitution, and agreed to 1,500 hours of community service.

From at least January 2004 until November 2006, now-defunct K.K. Bio-Science purposefully billed Illinois for drug testing services...
