Dr. Weil Sues Baby Products Co. Over Unpaid Royalties

Law360, New York (August 23, 2011, 3:23 PM EDT) -- Author and integrative medicine guru Dr. Andrew Weil launched a lawsuit in New York federal court on Friday claiming baby products maker Key Baby LLC failed to pay royalties required under its contract to license his trademarks.

Weil Lifestyle LLC, which exclusively licenses Weil's name and likeness, alleges that Key Baby has failed to make over $500,000 in past due payments and has also refused to reimburse the company for fees it paid to a publicity firm on Key Baby's behalf.
