Martial Artist Resolves Licensing Scrap With Clothing Co.

Law360, Los Angeles (August 26, 2011, 2:56 PM EDT) -- Famed mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell and his company Iceman Productions LLC agreed Friday in a California court to settle a contract spat with clothing distributor MMA Authentics LLC, which he said breached a licensing agreement to use his image and signature on its merchandise.

Liddell had accused MMA Authentics of selling items that were not covered in a 2007 licensing agreement he signed with the company and failing to pay the fighter royalties on the unapproved apparel.
