Wind Turbine Co. A-Power Faces Investor Fraud Action

Law360, New York (August 31, 2011, 7:21 PM EDT) -- Disgruntled shareholders lodged a class action in New York on Friday against A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd., claiming the Chinese wind turbine and green energy systems manufacturer misled investors about the financial health of the company.

Roy Weinberg brought the case after similar suits were filed in California and Nevada in recent months against A-Power, its principals and its former auditing firm, alleging the company issued false and misleading statements regarding its business and finances, according to the complaints.
