State AGs Urge High Court To Protect Investors

Law360 (June 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Attorneys general in 32 states across the U.S. have banded together to submit a plea to the Supreme Court to “support a healthy securities market” and hold liable accountants, banks, lawyers and others who engage in sham deals that are aided by a company's accounting fraud.
