Event Staffing Co. Strikes Deal In Wage Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (September 1, 2011, 3:55 PM EDT) -- A California state judge on Thursday tentatively agreed to approve a $450,000 settlement between Staff Pro Inc. and a putative class of hourly employees who claim they weren't paid for attending a company orientation or reimbursed for the cost of background checks, calling the deal fair and reasonable.
