Newly Bankrupt Solyndra Slapped With WARN Action

Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 6:41 PM EDT) -- Solyndra LLC officially filed for Chapter 11 in Delaware on Tuesday while facing a proposed class action in California that accuses the defunct solar energy company of failing to give workers enough warning before they were laid off.

The rooftop solar-power system manufacturer, which was the recipient of a $535 million stimulus loan guarantee from the U.S. government, announced last week it would file for bankruptcy. In court documents Tuesday it said it had assets worth about $859 million and liabilities worth about $749 million....
