Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 8:39 PM EDT) -- Semiconductor company Xilinx Inc. sued Intellectual Ventures Management LLC in California federal court on Friday in a bid to invalidate seven patents, claiming the patent holding giant has no standing to enforce the patents because Xilinx had licensed them.
Xilinx is seeking a declaration that Intellectual Ventures and its affiliates don't have standing to sue it over the patents, which relate to its semiconductor products, as well as an injunction barring it from doing so.
