Judge Keeps Zuckerman Spaeder Atty In BCI Fraud Case

Law360, New York (September 8, 2011, 3:18 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge refused Tuesday to bar a Zuckerman Spaeder LLP tax and white collar partner from defending BCI Aircraft Leasing Inc. and CEO Brian Hollnagel in a criminal investment fraud and obstruction of justice case.

U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve denied without prejudice the government’s motion to disqualify Paula Junghans, stating the government did not provide enough evidence of potential conflicts of interest to merit disqualification at this point in the case.
