Bug Music CEO Seeks Company Equity In Contract Suit

Law360, New York (September 9, 2011, 7:38 PM EDT) -- The CEO of Bug Music Inc. sued his employer Thursday in California state court, claiming the music publishing giant violated two agreements promising him 2 percent of the company's fully diluted equity.

The lawsuit targets a major publisher that represents music legends like Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, Iggy Pop and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and owns copyrights to "What a Wonderful World," "The Real Slim Shady," "I Walk The Line" and other hits, according to the company.
