AT&T Rips DOJ's 'Anti-Competitive' Merger-Blocking Suit

Law360, New York (September 9, 2011, 6:50 PM EDT) -- AT&T Inc. and T-Mobile USA Inc. defended their proposed $39 billion merger in Washington federal court Friday, saying the move would be good for consumers and claiming the U.S. Department of Justice's suit aiming to block the merger is itself anti-competitive.
