Burger King Canned Cashier Who Griped About OT: Suit

Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 4:11 PM EDT) -- Burger King Corp. was scorched with a putative wage-and-hour class action on Friday in Florida by a former cashier who claims the fast-food giant fired her for complaining about overtime pay.

Angeline Jean-Baptiste alleges Burger King management forced her to clock out at the end of her shift and did not pay her for work performed afterward, including mopping floors, fixing a milk shake machine and placing money in a safe.
