Oracle Investor Sues Over Whistleblower’s FCA Claims

Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 7:49 PM EDT) -- An Oracle Corp. shareholder on Thursday sued the company’s executives in California federal court, claiming they were aware of an alleged policy of overcharging the U.S. government in a software contract, which an ex-employee whistleblower had brought to light.

In the complaint filed in the Northern District of California, shareholder Scott Ozaki takes aim at Oracle's board of directors, saying their actions showed a "complete and utter disregard for the law," that exposed the company to billions of dollars in liability.
