Sony Says MicroUnity's Witness Request Is "Unfair"

Law360, New York (June 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Calling MicroUnity Systems Engineering Inc.'s litigation tactics in an ongoing patent suit “inconvenient and unfair,” Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. on Friday asked the judge to deny Microunity's motion forcing Sony's Japanese witnesses to testify in the United States.

The spat is part of a litigation suit MicroUnity filed against Sony in Nov. 2005, accusing the Japanese company of infringing ten patents with its Sony Playstation 2, Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable game consoles.
