P&G Hit With Class Action Over Toothpaste Dispenser

Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 7:37 PM EDT) -- A putative class of consumers on Thursday hit Procter & Gamble Co. with breach of warranty and false advertising claims in California federal court, saying its “Neat Squeeze” Crest dispensers leave users unable to push out a significant amount of the toothpaste.

Named plaintiff Jonathan Rothstein estimates that he wasn't able to dispense as much as 20 percent of the toothpaste he purchased, according to the complaint.
