Bon Jovi, MLB Ask 1st Circ. To Toss Songwriter's Suit

Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 7:59 PM EDT) -- Jon Bon Jovi and others asked the First Circuit on Tuesday to toss a suit claiming one of the rocker's songs used in baseball game commercials infringes another composer's work, saying the complaint raises mostly the same issues as another suit.
