Google, Others Sued Over Display Synchronization IP

Law360, New York (September 15, 2011, 1:49 PM EDT) -- I2Z Technology LLC sued Google Inc., Yahoo! Inc., LP and 13 other defendants Tuesday, accusing them of infringing a patent that covers a system for synchronizing the presentation of data on a computer display.

Longview, Texas-based I2Z's complaint, filed in Delaware federal court, seeks unspecified damages and an injunction barring the defendants from infringing the asserted patent. The defendants include AOL Inc., doing business as MapQuest, WebMD LLC, Zagat Survey LLC, Kayak Software Corp., Yelp Inc. and TripAdvisor LLC.
