'Daily News' Owner's Madoff Claims Revived

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 10:11 PM EDT) -- A New York judge has reinstated media mogul Mort Zuckerman's negligent misrepresentation claims against Ezra J. Merkin over investments in a Bernard Madoff feeder fund in light of a 2010 state appeals court ruling clarifying the Martin Act, according to an opinion made public Wednesday.
