NRC Must Reassess Storage Rule, States Tell DC Circ.

Law360, New York (September 15, 2011, 9:35 PM EDT) -- New York, Vermont and Connecticut told the D.C. Circuit on Thursday that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission must conduct a deeper environmental review of its temporary storage rule, which allows spent fuel to remain in nuclear facilities for up to 60 years after they close.
