J&J Subsidiaries Hope For Another Dismissal

Law360, New York (June 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Alza Corp. have again attempted to get a judge to toss a lawsuit over the bladder drug Ditropan XL, saying in a motion filed Monday that the only remaining plaintiff didn't directly purchase the product.

In early May, Judge Jeffrey S. White threw out the antitrust class action filed against the two Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries, but gave the direct purchaser plaintiffs a chance to file an amended complaint.
