LA Sues SkyTag To Block Supergraphic Ads

Law360, New York (September 19, 2011, 6:45 PM EDT) -- Los Angeles outdoor advertising company SkyTag, known for its towering supergraphic ads, was hit with a lawsuit Monday alleging that it violated numerous city ordinances and fire codes by wrapping 17 buildings with its mammoth ads.

L.A. City Attorney Carmen A. Trutanich brought the suit in California court, alleging that since at least 2001, the company and 21 property owners have erected and maintained the signs across the city without the without required permits, approvals and inspections, according to the complaint.
