Kelly Services To Shell Out $3M In Interview Pay Action

Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 5:40 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday approved a $2.75 million settlement between temporary staffing agency Kelly Services Inc. and a class of workers who claimed they weren't properly paid for time spent preparing for and attending job interviews.

U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken granted final approval of the agreement — which the parties reached late last year after undergoing mediation — and dismissed with prejudice all claims in the Fair Labor Standards Act suit brought by Catherine E. Sullivan.
