Ex-Ernst & Young Workers Win Class Cert. In OT Action

Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 6:48 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in California agreed Tuesday to certify a narrow class of former Ernst & Young LLP employees in a suit accusing the professional services firm of failing to pay its workers overtime.

It was the latest development in a nearly six-year-old suit brought by the ex-Ernst & Young employees, who allege they were required to work 50 hours a week as a matter of corporate policy, but were never paid overtime for their efforts.
